Annmarie Garden Sculpture Park & Arts Center in Solomons offers a variety of creative options for your next birthday party. With plenty of space, both indoors and outside, a birthday party at Annmarie Garden will provide creative fun for all ages. And did you know one of our art activities is a great way to get even shy kids talking and socializing with each other? Why not choose a wonderfully artsy activity for your next party and make it a birthday celebration your child will remember for years. And hey parents, when you make the mess at Annmarie Garden, you go home to a clean house! Annmarie Garden is a lovely place to celebrate! Have your choice of a Bike Parade Party, The Big Birthday Paint Out, Funky Mobile Party, Chalk It Up! Patio Party, or create your own Custom Theme!

Adults can have parties too! Build your own birthday by choosing any art class from our Studio School catalog, gather 6 or more friends and we will organize a special creative birthday experience for you! Regular class fees apply. Adult art parties can include Wine and Dish parties, Raku parties, wearable art parties, jewelry parties, and party paint-outs.

Bike Parade Party - All Ages click to download a reservation form

For up to 15 kids for 5 hours
(time slot includes your set up & clean time)

 Invite your party-goers to bring their tricycles and bicycles to this fun and engaging birthday party. AMG provides all the decorations for the kids to decorate their bikes and then the birthday child can lead a parade down our beautiful Wooded Path. With plenty of great photo opportunities, this will be a fun party for all ages, boys and girls alike. Please note skateboards are not allowed in Annmarie Garden. You can have your party in the community gallery or the patio at the new Arts Building (seasonal)!

AMG Provides:

  • The party room for 5 hours (including your set up and clean up time)
  • four 8 foot tables, 16 chairs, use of kitchenette (fridge/ freezer, microwave & sink)
  • 2 child height tables & little chairs
  • self-guided activity-- decorations for the bike parade; each child keeps their decorations
  • beautiful Wooded Path to ride your bikes

Clean Up:

  • All groups are expected to leave the party room and kitchenette in the same condition it was found. This means you must remove all your dishes and any supplies you brought, leftovers, your own decorations, etc. from the room.
  • You must also take all trash out to the big dumpster in the parking lot.

For up to 15 kids for 5 hours

 Create a mural for the birthday child using non-toxic tempera paints. AMG supplies the canvas, non-toxic tempera paints and brushes. You supply the kids and the creativity. You invite all party goers to contribute to the group masterpiece. The kids can use their hands, feet or bushes to create a wonderful work of art for your birthday child to take home. Children ages 4 and under have the option to use finger paints.

Clean up:
  • All groups are expected to leave the party room and kitchenette in the same condition it was found. This means you must remove all your dishes and any supplies you brought, leftovers, your own decorations, etc. from the room.
  • rinse all paintbrushes, rollers, stamps, and paint containers. Close all paint bottles.
  • You must also take all trash out to the big dumpster in the parking lot.
  • You may take your mural outside to paint if weather permits
  • Murals may be left overnight to dry and picked up the next day, 10-5pm

 Invite each party-goer to create their own work of art, a real mobile! Using tin, wire, tin snips, pliers and lost of fun doo-dads, each party-goer can create their own mobile to take home as a wonderful reminder of the birthday party!

Great for little ones, this seasonal party takes you to the arts building to create your own sidewalk-chalk art masterpiece! Gather on the outdoor patio or in the cafe in case of rain, and enjoy a birthday outdoors in the beautiful garden.

 Do you have a party theme in mind and want us to create a special activity for you? Just ask! Our staff artists will design a party and activity just for you! Prices may vary depending on supplies needed. Please note that this does not mean that AMG will purchase pre-made decorations, but will provide groups with a custom art activity that fits the desired theme. Such as, if your child would like a princess theme, AMG will provide supplies to make crowns or a special mural, but will not purchase decorations or specific princess memorabilia.
