2006 The Great Windchime
2005 Passages
Each summer, Annmarie Garden invites the public to participate in an art project designed for all ages and abilities. Visitors can stop by any day throughout the summer and lend their creativity to an artwork. The final components are assembled and installed by staff and volunteers, then displayed at the Garden from September to December. It remains installed through Artsfest and Halloween, allowing over 20,000 visitors to experience the art. Due to the generous donations of local sponsors, these projects are always free, and return visits are welcome!
STICK TOGETHER
2008's summer Public Art Project asks visitors to help us build a giant collaborative nature sculpture using sticks, stones, feathers, shells and other natural materials. Eco-Friendly paint will add color tho this growing installation as it curves and sirls through our loblolly forest. Stop By often to see how it grow!
