In the Discovery Tent
Stop by the Discovery Tent in the grassy meadow to try your hand at our creative activities.  Leave your mark on our Graffiti wall, or make a shell collage to take home and enjoy.  Create a colorful cast of characters and direct your own show at the playful puppet theatre.
 
Along the Path
Learn about the importance of our ecosystem while helping Southern Maryland Oyster Cultivation Society, SMOCS, create our very own oyster bed!  Visitors can help by creating and decorating all the important pieces of an oyster bed.  SMOCS is located at spot P60.
For added fun, visit the Arts Council of Calvert County to create even more take-home treasures!  The Arts Council can be found at spot P56.  

In the Studio School
Visit the Studio School, located across from the Arts Building, for a sneak peak of the classrooms, class listings, and a little bit of open studio experimentation!  Try your hand at a variety of art media.  Paint at easels, play in clay, draw with pastels, and more.  Meet the Studio School faculty and watch them demonstrate techniques that will be taught in their classes.  You can even register for a class before you leave the festival!

Located by the Discovery tent, the Zany Zone welcomes silly play for all ages with hula hoops and beach balls.
