Dear Annmarie Summer Camp Parents:

We are so very sorry to announce that we have decided to cancel our 2021 Summer Camp program.  This was a very difficult decision that our camp team agonized over for several weeks.  After reviewing all the new guidelines and restrictions, we came to the conclusion that it would require more staff and resources than our non-profit can manage right now.  The COVID-19 crisis has hit us hard, resulting in a devastating loss of income, with more loses to come.  Given these challenges, we need to focus on stabilizing our organization and charting a path for the future.

We love our summer camp program and all the kids that spend their week(s) with us.  We understand the importance of these experiences for kids.  Exuberant exploration of the creative arts is at the heart of everything we do, and exposing kids to this is how we build confident and creative thinkers.  We are deeply sorry for the impact this decision will have on our families.

Even though we can’t run our camps, we are re-imagining summer at Annmarie!  We are pleased to report that we are developing new in-park (socially distant) programs, along with new virtual programs.  We will be rolling out new daily programs and experiences in the next few weeks, including fairy-themed daily fun, yoga in the park, a re-imagined Insectival event, and LOTS more.  These programs will be free or have reduced cost for members.  We are also developing new virtual programs for kids that will keep them artfully engaged over the summer.  We hope these new programs will give you some options for the summer.

To keep up to date on everything we do, please subscribe to our e-newsletter and follow us on facebook!  You can also find details about our programs at  Not everything has been posted, so keep a look out for announcements in the coming weeks!

Thank you so much for your support.  We know this crisis is causing disruption in your lives and we are sorry to add to it. Feel free to contact either of us with any questions – and we do look forward to seeing you this summer!
