Dowell Peninsula History Project
Dowell Peninsula History Project
Open to the Public!
Since its inception in November of 2022, the Dowell Peninsula History Project has sought to engage our immediate local area in collecting, organizing, and exploring our community history. Members of the community have interviewed local citizens about their memories and experiences of living and working on the peninsula. The committee has also organized and hosted scanning parties, in an effort to archive important historical documents and photographs relevant to our area history.
