Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center

Artsfest is fun for the whole family all weekend long, with juried artist booths, live music and performances, interactive sing-alongs, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to explore the sculpture garden together. For an especially family-friendly experience, plan your visit for Sunday, our Family Day, when you’ll find even more activities and entertainment for kids. Sunday also tends to have a more relaxed pace and smaller crowds, making it an especially great day for families with young children to explore, play, and enjoy the festival at their own speed.

EXPLORE NATURE!

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the trail as you hunt for forest finds. 

PLAY IN THE FAIRY LOLLY!

As always, kids can run off some energy in our Fairy Lolly nature play space. Dance on the stage, play in the sand cafe, imagine adventures in our play structures, or sit and enjoy a book at the little free library. 

PAINT IN THE PARK!

Create a beautiful painting to take home and display! Visit the Discovery Tent in the meadow to pick up your supplies, find an easel, and create a masterpiece! Along the trail, meet a chalk artist and watch her create!

BECOME WALKING ART!

Stop by the Kreative Kharacters face painting booth and get decorated for the day! Located off the back patio of the Main Building, the Kreative Kharacters booth is always a hit! ($)

Chalk it Up!

See what masterpiece Julie Linkins of Ms. Doodle's Chalk Art is creating at Wooded Path spot 76, then make your own chalk art to take home!

MINE FOR GEMS AT THE FAIRY GROVE MINING SLUICE!

Purchase a sluice bucket at the Welcome Booth and search for buried treasure! ($) Dump the bucket's contents in the sifter and wash the sand away to reveal your treasures. Identify gems, stones, and fossils. Take them home in the keepsake bag. 

Play in Clay!

Contribute to our Summer Public Art Project by decorating a clay butterfly (FREE), OR join a Pottery Wheel Try-It Session ($)

INTERACT WITH PERFORMERS!

From costumed characters to interactive musicians, our Fairy Lolly performers are sure to entertain all ages!
