Join us as we explore trees, bugs, frogs and more as we take nature walks along the wooded trail , sing songs, and make fun art projects in this Musikgarten adventure!
It's a zoo in here! Get ready for an art stampede as we explore animals from around the world through imaginative art projects. We will look at famous artworks of animals and even play a few silly games to celebrate our favorite animals. Each student will come away with a variety of animal artworks.

Let's celebrate the magical world of children's storybooks as we listen to stories, play fun games, and create art inspired by the stories, characters, and illustrations. Each child comes away with several fun projects! Choose from AM or PM session.
Roll up your sleeves and get ready to get muddy in this fun playtime with clay. Learn to make simple pinch pots, coils, and more in this fun half-day camp! Students come away with a variety of colorful clay projects.
Explore modern art masterpieces and create art in the style of famous artists. Students will learn about a different artist each day. After lunch, students will put their painting skills into action….real action! Throw it, bounce it, roll it, how many ways can you make a painting? Each student comes away with a variety of paintings and drawings.
Get ready for an icky, squishy week of wonder and we explore a variety of clays, pulps, slimes, and other goopy art media! Let's sculpt with it, paint with it and learn the science behind these substances and the properties they hold! Dress for a mess and get ready for a super slimy summer camp!

Explore the world of insects through colorfully creative art projects! Learn about insects from around the world and right here at home as we depict them in their natural environments using drawing, painting, collage, and more. Each student comes away with a variety of creeepy, crawly masterpieces.
In this camp, students will be introduced to artistic activities that contribute to a healthier mind, body, and world. Eco-art projects, morning yoga, team-building activities, and art from recycled materials will help young minds learn to grow up in a creative, happier, healthier place. Students come away with new projects each day.
Join Annmarie artists, Garrett Music Academy, Abigail Francisco School of Classical Ballet, and local theatre groups as we jump in and take a comprehensive look at the world of arts. Paint, sculpt, dance, act, and make some music in this collaborative multi-disciplinary camp. Put it all together to create a one-of-a-kind finale for your parents! This camp provides new dances, music, and scripts, so last year's students are welcome to return for more fun! This camp is running two sessions concurrently: one for grades 1-3 and one for grades 4-6. A great way to sample the arts opportunities available to southern Maryland youth!

Get ready to make a mess as we explore various hand-building techniques in clay. Experiment with pinch, slab, and coil techniques to make unique bowls, vases, trays, or sculptures. Use colorful underglazes and surface decorations to make your pieces unique!

Super sleuths unite! Let's roll up our sleeves and investigate the three-dimensional world of sculpture. We'll learn about famous sculptures, experiment with the tools and materials that they use, and then create our own free-standing artworks to take home and enjoy. Afternoons are spent in the clay studio!
Let's learn to love the earth and all of it's resources as we create eco-friendly artworks and earthworks. Let's go green as we try our hands at making paper, or use a variety of natural and recyclable materials to create art that celebrates the earth and does not harm it. Going green has never been this much fun! Each student comes away with several completed works.
Get ready for some globe-trotting fun as we learn about art and culture from around the world. Lets journey to Africa, China, Australia and more as we learn about various people, places, customs, and art traditions. No surface is off limits in this camp—we’ll even paint our faces to celebrate what we’ve learned!
Join us for a crash course in art history as we study the masters and create our own masterpieces inspired by their techniques and styles. Draw, paint, print, and collage your own unique works while developing your skills and learning tips and tricks to take your art to the next level.
Think BIG and take your painting skills to the next level as you create large paintings on canvas! Various games and activities will encourage students to rethink their definition of art and help them develop their own personal style. After lunch, students will work together as a team to design and paint a giant mural which will be exhibited at Annmarie Garden. Each student comes away with their own large-scale painting.
Show off your colorful personality as you learn a variety of fiber and jewelry techniques to add flair to your wardrobe and creatively upcycle other daily items. Learn dyeing, sewing, felting, and more as you create hats, bags, scarves and other unique wearables.
Team up with your peers in this creative construction challenge as you design and fabricate an extreme fantasy fort for Annmarie's forest! Using lumber, hardware, hand tools and power tools (with heavy supervision, of course!), tackle a variety of unique challenges that make this a mind-boggling experience for everyone! In the afternoons, think peaceful thoughts as you design, paint and build your own hammock to take home and enjoy.
Create your own unique pottery on the potter's wheel! Wear your grubbies and get ready to turn lumps of clay into finished masterpieces. Learn techniques to make an assortment of pottery using the wheel and slab roller. Each student comes away with a variety of pots, vases, bowls, and more.
