Farewell Friends!  Seasonal Migration of Birds & Butterflies

Explore various woods found in vineyards all over the world, select your favorite piece, and learn to turn it into a unique piece of jewelry! Bring your favorite wine and snacks to enjoy as you learn how to shape and polish the wood into a pendant or earrings. A fun afternoon out for wine enthusiasts!

Take a hike around Annmarie Garden’s quarter mile paved path through the forest with Beverly Walker from the Southern Maryland Audubon Society and Hester Burch, AMG’s staff naturalist. You don’t need to be an expert to join us. No prior birding skills necessary. We never know what wonderful birds we will see. Bring binoculars and wear walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

This program is FREE to attend. No registration required. Walk-ins welcome.


Start your holiday season off at our Holiday Tea in the beautifully decroated Main Gallery of of Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center. Our Teas features a wonderful assortment of specialty teas, served with homemade quiche, soup or salad, scones, tea cookies, pastries, and more!

Flower Power Happy Hour -- An adults-only public art event!

Join us for a special night of entomological discoveries! Special guests Bob Gardner (Maryland Entomological Society) and Phil Keene (Maryland Natural HIstory Society) will be setting up special insect attracting lights to lure a variety of nightime winged wonders! If you are curious about the array of positive phototaxis insects (like moths) in our area, join us for this nighttime investigation!

Check out our fun and funky outdoor exhibit! Annapolis artist, Tom Yates, hand carved this school of fish out of wood! Deep Sea Funky Fish will reside outdoors on our sculpture garden path throuought the duration of the summer. Come see it while you can!
