Preschool children and their caretakers are invited to visit the artLAB at Annmarie for hands-on investigations and challenges. Each session will help children explore, observe, ask questions, and make predictions about the world around them as they create and play! We'll investigate concepts in STEAM—science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Free admission; no registration required, just drop in!

Join visiting artist, Devin Mack, and explore the world of wire sculpture. Explore his unique creations, then learn basic wire sculpting methods and practice applying various techniques to create a decorative wire tree. Each student will come away with their own unique tree and the knowledge to continue working with wire at home.

Learn to create a fused glass heart pendant with various bits of colorful mosaic glass. Each parent/child couple will create two hearts to exchange for Mother's Day. Hearts will need to be fired in a kiln and will be ready for pickup by Mother's Day. A special gift for the maternal figures in your life!

Celebrate Mother's Day by working with Mom to create an entire tea service complete with teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, and teacups. Work together to make your own whimsical set out of clay, then decorate them with colorful underglazes. A great gift for the maternal figure in your life!

Tea set takes 2-3 weeks to dry, fire in kiln, and seal with a clear coat. Families will be called when sets are ready for pickup. All sets will be ready for Mothers Day!
