Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center is beginning an exciting new chapter in our story. Thanks to the generosity of the Van Metre Family Foundation, we have just completed a patio and sidewalk expansion project around the Murray Arts Building, and are now ready to transform the area into a haven of native grasses, perennials, trees, and shrubs!

Over the next three years, we intend to add more than 2,000 native plants and trees around the Murray Arts Building to create new garden beds and a large sunny meadow. We are also excited to tell you that this project includes the addition of cisterns that will capture more than 6000 gallons of water off our giant roof. The cisterns will provide water to nourish our beautiful garden.

Along with plants and cisterns, we will also need new site furnishings, including benches, tables, chairs, and planters, all of which make lovely opportunities to honor or remember a loved one. Ultimately, our goal is to create a beautiful native landscape with plenty of seating and educational information to fully enjoy and understand the importance of our native ecology.

To realize this dream, we need the generous support of our community, both near and far. We hope you will carefully study the many ways you can support this project and make a choice that  fits your budget and interests. Your support will have a lasting impact on this special place where art and nature meet.

Feel free to contact me at director@annmariegarden.org with any questions.  And on behalf of the entire Annmarie community, thank you for your consideration and support!

Help us create a native habitat . . .

From our modest beginnings in 2009,
we are transforming our Butterfly Garden into a new native pollinator garden and meadow . . .

We need plant material, seating, tables, benches, and cisterns!  Help us create something wonderful!

This ambitious project would not be possible without the generous support of our community.  We hope you will come to the garden often to witness the transformation.
