Unsurpassed beauty and entertainment await you at the 34th Annual Artsfest! Â Set amidst the spectacular backdrop of the sculpture garden, Artsfest is truly a unique arts experience. Explore incredible shopping and browsing at the juried artist booths in the Tent Circle and the Arts Building, then wander the shady Wooded Path to find more artists and activities nestled in the beautiful woods at Annmarie. Discover unique performance spaces scattered around the park with music, dance, theater, and spoken word performers. Kids will love the Discovery Tent and the Zany Zone, and adults can relax and sip a glass of wine or beer in the Beer Garden or the Main Stage seating area. There truly is something for everyone at Artsfest. It’s an event like no other, waiting for you and your family in Solomons, Maryland.

Annmarie Guest Passes are valid for this event! Members can bring a friend for FREE on Sunday.
As part of our Museums For All program, SNAP card holders get Free Admission on Sunday of Artsfest. Reservations are not required; just bring your SNAP card and valid ID to Window #1 at the Main Admissions Gate (limit 4 tickets per family group). Person making the purchase must be at least 18 years of age.
ALL PARKING FOR THIS EVENT IS FESTIVAL PARKING, meaning all cars will park in our grassy field. Please be advised that the field is uneven and can get muddy and wet. We will do our best to close off muddy locations. There are staff members and volunteers stationed in the Field. They are there to help you! We cannot be responsible for accidents, injuries, or theft.
HANDICAP PARKING & THE DROP OFF AREA– there is a section in the grass Parking Field, adjacent to the paved entrance, that is designated for Handicap Parking. Because the handicap parking area is limited, you may be directed to a grass parking areas. We strongly recommend that drivers make use of the DROP OFF area before going to the Handicap Parking Area.

SATELLITE PARKING IS AVAILABLE IN THE SOLOMONS TOWN CENTER PARK The paved parking area in the Solomons Town Center Park is open. We suggest drivers pull into the Annmarie Parking Field, drop off passengers at the DROP OFF location, and then exit out of the Parking Field into the Solomons Town Center Park. You can park your car there and walk back to the event.
HANDICAP GUESTS & THE FESTIVAL Much of the festival activity area is paved, including admissions, food vendors, sales booths, but please note that some activities are located on the lawns, trails, and forest areas of Annmarie, which may not be fully accessible.
RISK By purchasing a ticket or by attending the event, each guests accepts and understands the risks associated with attending the festival, including parking and entering the event, walking the sidewalks, trails, and lawns of Annmarie, participating in the activities and entertainment, shopping and browsing booths, consuming food and drink, dancing, etc., and agrees to hold Annmarie Garden, Ann’s Circle, Inc., and Koenig Pirvate Foundation, Inc., harmless to the extent permitted by law, from all claims, actions, liabilities, suits, injuries, demands, obligations, losses, settlements, judgements, damages, fines, penalites, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, and other espenses, arising out of or relating to your attendance at this festival.
Artsfest is fun for the whole family all weekend long, with juried artist booths, live music and performances, interactive sing-alongs, creative activities, and plenty of opportunities to explore the sculpture garden together. For an especially family-friendly experience, plan your visit for Sunday, our Family Day, when you’ll find even more activities and entertainment for kids. Sunday also tends to have a more relaxed pace and smaller crowds, making it an especially great day for families with young children to explore, play, and enjoy the festival at their own speed. EXPLORE NATURE! Enjoy a leisurely walk along the trail as you hunt for forest finds.Â
PLAY IN THE FAIRY LOLLY! As always, kids can run off some energy in our Fairy Lolly nature play space. Dance on the stage, play in the sand cafe, imagine adventures in our play structures, or sit and enjoy a book at the little free library.Â
PAINT IN THE PARK! Create a beautiful painting to take home and display! Visit the Discovery Tent in the meadow to pick up your supplies, find an easel, and create a masterpiece!
FULL STEAM AHEAD IN THE DISCOVERY TENT! Try your hand at the Artful Airplane challenge, and test it in the flight field to see how far yours soars!
MEET THE BUBBLE FAIRY! On Sunday from 11-3:00, follow the bubbles and find Dani Moon, our visiting Bubble Fairy! She’ll be creating enormous bubbles more than 30 feet long, along with fog bubbles, hand-bubble tricks, LED effects, bubble machines, and plenty of interactive magic for festival guests.
BECOME LIVING ART! Stop by the Kreative Kharacters face painting booth and get decorated for the day! Located off the back patio of the Main Building, the Kreative Kharacters booth is always a hit! ($)
KEEP CALM AND MAKE ART! Along the wooded trail, take a breather and learn the art of Zentangle! Relax, practice the easy patterns, and doodle your own unique artsfest Keepsake.
MINE FOR GEMS AT THE FAIRY GROVE MINING SLUICE! Purchase a sluice bucket at the Welcome Booth and search for buried treasure! ($) Dump the bucket’s contents in the sifter and wash the sand away to reveal your treasures. Identify gems, stones, and fossils. Take them home in the keepsake bag.Â
INTERACT WITH PERFORMERS! From costumed characters to interactive musicians, our Fairy Lolly performers are sure to entertain all ages!
POSE FOR FUN PHOTOS! Strike a pose at one of many fun photo opportunities spread throughout the park.
