Join us for an uplifting community art event and exhibit inspired
by the life of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
No reservations or tickets required. Drop in and craft with us; all ages welcome.
Join visiting artist Felicia Reed for a three-day, hands-on community art experience and help craft a felted flower for A Bouquet for MLK.
Throughout the residency, visitors are invited to watch Felicia’s wet-felting process in action and then create their own felted blooms to contribute to a growing collaborative bouquet. As hundreds of individual flowers come together, the installation becomes a vibrant tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s enduring ideals of unity, compassion, and collective action.
Rooted in collaboration, transformation, and inclusivity, Felicia Reed’s work invites participants of all ages and skill levels to engage in the artistic process while reflecting on the shared values that connect us as a community.
