What will you create in the artLAB?
Welcome to artLAB, Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center’s hands-on Creative Reuse Studio where imagination takes center stage! Located inside the Arts Building, artLAB invites visitors of all ages to explore ever-changing, self-guided art activities using recycled and repurposed materials. Access to artLAB is included with your admission donation – everyone is welcome to stop in and create something to take home with our recycled materials!
Special note: the artLAB may occasionally close for a group tour. Please call ahead to check for availability.
About Creative Reuse
Creative Reuse is the process of taking used or recycled materials and turning them into works of art, home decoration, utilitarian objects, jewelry, and other useful or pleasing items. This process reduces waste, thus saving money and conserving natural resources, all while creating something new!
Creative reuse demonstrates that artistic creativity and conservation can go hand in hand, using all manner of unwanted materials. Junk has value for those willing to use their imagination. Creative reuse is an effective response to ever-filling landfills, overproduction, and diminishing natural resources.

2 liter + 1 liter plastic bottles
TP, paper towel, cardboard tubes (paper peeled off, please!)
We CANNOT currently accept:
glitter
styrofoam
plastic food containers of ANY kind
plastic bottlecaps
fabric
t-shirts
beads
ceramic tile
crayons
