Presented by the Annmarie Gift Shop, the Ornament Show & Sale is a juried show that features hand-crafted ornaments by more than 25 regional artists. This is the perfect place to find unique and affordable gifts for friends and family. The ornaments are beautifully hung on trees displayed in the Main Gallery of the Arts Building. Visitors shop off the trees and take their purchases to the Gift Shop. The show kicks off before Thanksgiving and runs through early January. During Garden In Lights, the show is open late!

Art for All Seasons at ACLT is the culmination of a year of local artists creating plein air works of art depicting the beautiful landscapes found throughout the American Chestnut Land Trust's preserved lands surrounding Parkers Creek in Calvert County, Maryland.
ACLT is a member-supported nonprofit whose mission is to promote land conservation and preservation throughout Southern Maryland. Since its inception in 1986, ACLT has helped to preserve over 3800 acres in the Parkers Creek and Governors Run watersheds. ACLT connects people to the land via 25+ miles of trails that run through dense forests, farm fields and meadows, and along gurgling streams. ACLT also supports the food-insecure members of the local community by donating produce raised at its Double Oak Farm to the local food bank. Proceeds from the exhibition will allow ACLT to continue its mission for the benefit of this and future generations.

Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center invites emerging and established artists to submit original artworks to ‘POP! Art with Mass Appeal.’ This exhibition seeks to showcase artworks that capture the essence or provide commentary on pop art's evolution in the digital age. Artists are encouraged to delve into the vibrant world of popular media and consumer culture, exploring how it shapes and redefines our views of each other, society, and the world. From traditional pop art aesthetics, to internet memes and viral fame, to music and television references, popular animation and illustration styles, logos and icons, we invite artists to interpret this theme with creativity, imagination, satire, and/or a sense of humor. This show seeks art that embraces bold colors, dynamic compositions, and a graphic style that defines the heart of pop art. Whether through traditional mediums or digital formats, we are looking for artwork that visually resonates with the energy, intensity--and even the absurdity-- of contemporary popular culture.
This exhibition will be open to the public in the Kay Daugherty Gallery of Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, from May 3, 2024, to September 22, 2024.

MORE! Embracing Excess seeks to unravel the layers of complexity and indulgence found in the realm of maximalism, showcasing the beauty that emerges when more is truly more. We aim to challenge traditional norms and push the boundaries of artistic expression by featuring a diverse array of artworks, installations, and designs that embody the extravagance, the lavishness, and the exuberance of maximalism. The exhibition will highlight bold colors, patterns, textures, intricate detail, and overwhelming visual richness.
This exhibition will be open to the public in the Main Gallery of Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, from June 7, 2024, to August 25, 2024. We are also excited to be hosting an Annmarie After Hours opening reception on June 7, 2024 from 5pm-7pm.

Each floral designer is assigned a work of art in the Main Gallery or the Kay Daugherty Gallery and asked to create an arrangement inspired by that work of art. The results are surprising, beautiful, and provocative - and not to be missed. 2024 will mark the 15th year for Art Blooms, an exhibit co-hosted by the Calvert Garden Club and Annmarie Garden.
